The IMC works closely with CTcon Management Consultants, a top corporate management and controlling consultancy. This liason ensures that our research insights find access to controlling practice while also ensuring that our research projects are aligned with the practical needs of companies.
CTcon was founded in 1992 as a spin-off of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar/Koblenz. Today, the company also operates offices in Bonn, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, and Munich and serves its international client base globally. CTcon is an established and trusted partner of large manufacturing, retail, and services companies as well as of public sector institutions. More than half of the DAX-30 companies are CTcon clients.
The liason between CTcon and the IMC serves to facilitate the exchange between research and practice. It enables us to identify key topics and trends in different industries and allows us to test new scientific insights in practice.
The close collaboration is also reflected in the composition of the advisory boards: Dr Christian Bungenstock, managing director and founder of CTcon, is a member of the IMC’s advisory board. Professor Jürgen Weber is a co-founder of CTcon and chairman of the CTcon Scientific Advisory Board. Professor Schäffer also serves on this Board.
